A week in Iceland
I’m finding it hard to put into words how I feel about Iceland because it was everything and more than I had ever hoped it would be. From seeing waterfalls literally every corner, discovering glaciers and holding a 1,000-year-old ice, sleeping in a beautiful farmhouse and waking up to the sight of the famous volcano, Eyjafjallajokull, watching the Euro cup with locals and chanting “Áfram Ísland!”, walking the breathtaking town of Seyðisfjörður where parts of the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was filmed, to driving on the edge of mountains then through an actual cloud then in an underwater tunnel next – Iceland certainly didn’t fail to impress.

We watched the game with the locals, and witnessed Iceland go through the Euro Cup for the first time in history. It was an electrifying moment.
